The tower is about to fall

are you coming to witness it?

A Vision of the Demolisher

Language is the architecture of thought. The Tower of Babel is a symbolic sanctuary for the language-curious,  the main symbol of the human struggle with languages and communication, representing humanity's enduring quest for understanding. Here is the place to turn this tower upside down, demolish it, and rebuild it:

                                                                                          The Tower of Bebel.

Join us on a journey through the rich tapestry of languages and the undeniable impact they have on the world that we build through them.

What are you curious about?

And who exactly is...

Bebel?

A one-woman mariachi band. The people who love me call me Bebel, and I have been a teacher of languages for 17 years. Built my life all around it and demolished it through it. Now my students and I are rebuilding our worlds by dwelling in the beauty of discovering those linguistic structures and their history. Maybe we can also find ourselves in the way.

Maybe you want to deepen your understanding of language as a tool for communication, focusing on sociolinguistics and cognitive structures, but you want to make it fun: you're in the right place.

The Hilarious Seriousness of Philosophy

Come with us to think about the nature of meaning and identity, elaborating on how language shapes our perception of reality and the world. Honestly, it's like if Diogenes took over Plato's Academy. And if you don't know who those are, I promise I'll spill the all the tea.
